Ohemgee, MGS3-talk time.

I took a pretty massive chunk out of it today. I played from... the Mountains, after beating The End, to sneaking back into the base after escaping torture. Torture, by the way, wasn't even fair. If I could have cheated my way through torture in MGS1 by just holding down L2, I wouldn't have been so... tortured! ;___; At least I didn't have to go through it again.

Even though the scene where Volgin wails on Snake was enough torture for me. Sure, he's not the Snake, but... it was horrible! And now he only has one good eye... Also, I lmfao'ed at Snake shunning EVA and her attempts at seducing him. It was pretty funny.

And... Uh, the "boss fight" with the Sorrow is pretty much the weirdest thing I've ever played through in a game — next to the part in Metroid Prime when you're in the dark and there are Metroids flying around (that scared me). You're basically wading down a river full of all the people you've killed in the mission (and since I'm not very stealthy, that's a lot). They hurt you if they can catch you (they're slow and pretty easy to avoid), but still... The river is full of dead fish, spirits of the soldiers / bosses / ect you've killed. It's creepy. The funniest thing, though, was if you look to the left you can see Raikov (who looks suspiciously like Raiden, duh! >__O; ) shuffling by, hiding his nakedness. It gave me a rush of MGS2 nostalgia.

I plan on beating the game tomorrow, after getting my hair cut and before heading over to Jacob's... if he has one of his weekly get-togethers, that is. Hopefully so! I wish to show off my new haircut. ^^

So I don't think I can ramble any more. >>;
